Machinist/Toolmaker

Location: Mansfield Woodhouse, Nottinghamshire Our client is a precision engineering and toolmaking company specialising in high-performance mould tooling for demanding sectors including medical, defence, electronics, and food packaging.They work to micron level tolerances and combine advanced CNC machining with traditional toolmaking craftsmanship to deliver tooling that performs and keeps performing across production, maintenance, and beyond. The Role They re looking for a skilled Machinist / Toolmaker to join a growing team. This is a dynamic and varied role within a small, close-knit team, supporting a range of exciting new customer programmes and contributing directly to the continued growth and success of the business. You ll work across diverse tooling projects from concept through to completion, playing a key part in delivering the quality and reliability our customers depend on. Key Responsibilities CNC and manual machining (milling, turning, grinding, EDM) to high precision. Tool assembly, fitting, and bench work to final tolerance. Reading and interpreting 3D CAD drawings and technical documentation. Working closely with project engineers to meet quality and delivery requirements. Supporting new and ongoing customer programmes and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
