Machinist (Granite) x 3 days

CNC operatives, we are looking for CNC Machinists working from our manufacturing site based in Normanton, West Yorkshire.This is for a 3 day weekend shift (Friday/Sat/Sun), initial training will be on the day shift Monday to Friday (Apply online only). Training will be for approx 5 weeks.The Role:Successful candidate will undertake the CNC cutting of granite and other solid surfaces for fabrication.Duties of the RoleTo undertake the CNC cutting of granite and other solid surfaces to accurate dimensions for fabricationAbility to interpret dimensions from drawings, templates and formersTo ensure an effective use of materials from cutting listsAbility to use CAD CamClean and maintain machinery and toolsMaintain a tidy work area.Previous experience of worktop manufacture and use of Auto CAD would be a distinct advantage but is not essential as training will be provided.Experience of working within a fast paced and demanding manufacturing environment would be a distinct advantage.
