Machine Tool Fitter Location: Nuneaton, Warwickshire Salary: £20 per hour (approx. £35,000 per year) Hours: Four-day working week (Monday to Thursday) Overtime: Available at enhanced rates About the Machine Tool Fitter Role We are looking for an experienced Machine Tool Fitter to join our client''s brilliant team in Nuneaton. The successful candidate will be responsible for dismantling, cleaning, repairing, and reassembling precision grinding machines and other workshop equipment. This is a hands-on, workshop-based role ideal for someone with a strong background in mechanical fitting, machine tools, and fault diagnosis. Key Machine Tool Fitter Responsibilities Strip down grinding machines and other precision equipment. Steam clean and prepare components for inspection and repair. Identify and repair mechanical faults, replacing worn or damaged parts as needed. Reassemble machines to a high standard, ensuring full operational functionality. Carry out routine maintenance and adjustments. Work from technical drawings, manuals, and schematics. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment. Collaborate with the engineering team to improve repair and rebuild processes. Machine Tool Fitter Requirements Proven experience as a Machine Tool Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, or similar role.
