Machine Shop Technician

This position would suit someone who enjoys a varied machining role and is looking to take on more responsibility over time. The Role Working within a busy machine shop, you''ll be involved in the manufacture of precision components from prototype work through to small production batches. You''ll work with a variety of CNC and conventional machine tools while ensuring work is completed safely, accurately and to the highest quality standards. Typical duties will include: Setting up and operating CNC and manual machine tools. Producing precision components from engineering drawings and technical specifications. Selecting suitable tooling and work-holding methods for a range of machining operations. Manufacturing low-volume and bespoke components to tight tolerances.
