Machine Shop Technician High Wycombe £28,000 - £32,500 depending on experience Our client is looking for an experienced Machine Shop Technician to join their growing manufacturing team. Machine Shop Technician Roles and Responsibilities: Set and operate CNC turning machinery to manufacture precision components Operate conventional lathes, milling machines and other workshop equipment Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Select suitable tooling, fixtures and machining methods Manufacture one-off, prototype and small-batch components Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment Ensure all components meet required quality standards and specifications Complete routine machine maintenance and daily equipment checks Work closely with Production, Engineering and Inspection teams to resolve any manufacturing issues Identify opportunities to improve machining processes and production efficiency Support the introduction of suitable components from conventional machining to CNC Help develop standard machining processes and best working practices Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment Support continuous improvement activities across the machine shop Machine Shop Technician Ideal Candidate: Previous experience setting and operating CNC machinery The ability to read and understand engineering drawings Good knowledge of machining techniques, tooling and manufacturing processes Experience ..... full job details .....
