Machine Shop Team Leader (CNC Milling & Turning)

Looking to step into a more hands-off supervisory role while still staying close to the machining process?
We''re recruiting on behalf of a well-established UK engineering manufacturer supplying bespoke equipment into highly regulated industries. This is an opportunity to lead a small, busy machine shop, taking responsibility for planning workloads, supporting another machinist, and ensuring quality components are delivered on time.
You''ll remain technically involved, programming and machining complex one-off and low-volume precision components, but with greater ownership of the day-to-day running of the shop.

• 5+ years'' CNC Milling & Turning experience
• Strong CNC programming skills
• Previous Team Leader or supervisory experience (or someone ready to step up)
• Experience machining stainless steel and working to tight tolerances
• Ability to manufacture one-off and prototype components
• Confident reading engineering drawings

Experience with Hurco lathes and milling machines would be advantageous but isn''t essential.
Salary: Circa -45k plus regular overtime.
