Machine Shop Shift Supervisor (Heavy Engineering) 35,000 - 38,000 + Company Benefits + Days Based + Progression + Monday - Friday Birmingham Are you a Shift Supervisor from a heavy engineering background looking to join a long-established manufacturer, where you''ll lead a busy machine shop team, provide hands-on technical support, and have a clear progression path to Operations Manager?Established in the 1800''s, this long-standing heavy engineering specialist delivers high-integrity forged and machined components into critical sectors including aerospace, defence, marine, nuclear, oil and gas and power generation. The company focuses on large-scale, complex, tight-tolerance components, offering in-house open die forging, machining, heat treatment and testing capabilities.In this permanent early shift role (6:00am-2:00pm), you will lead a team of up to 15 machine shop operatives, planning workloads, monitoring production and ensuring quality, safety and delivery targets are met.
