The Role - Machine Shop Operative (CNC), based in BrackleyAs a Machine Shop Operative, you''ll be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines, ensuring high-quality components are produced efficiently and safely. Key responsibilities include:Setting up and operating 3-axis CNC machines, including offline programming for prototype and production workCarrying out routine maintenance in line with scheduled requirementsOperating manual and digital saws, as well as drilling, tapping, and overhead routing equipmentSupporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and providing feedback for Continuous Improvement (CI) initiativesMaintaining high-quality standards using a "No Fault Forward" approachRecording production data, machine settings, and process adjustmentsEnsuring compliance with health and safety standards and maintaining a clean working environment Key Skills and ExperienceProven experience operating CNC machines (3-axis preferred)Background in a machine shop or manufacturing environmentExperience using manual machining tools (desirable, ..... full job details .....
