You will be responsible for managing a 17 machine CNC workshop, with a team of 24 direct reports, allocating programming job tickets & supervising work, production & consistency of quality, prior to inspection. The machine shop mainly comprises of Fanuc operated DOOSAN/Hwacheon Lathes and Haas VMCs. This is a hands-on role in a very busy & fast-paced environment, where you will be expected to operate & programme as required. We anticipate the role being 80% management & 20% programming. You must be a skilled CNC Operator on turn & mill lathes. You will be experienced in: Writing G code programmes and the use of ONE CNC CAD/CAM software. Transfer of programmes for repeat jobs.
