Machine Setter

Location: Droitwich
Pay Rate: £12.96–£13.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am and 6:00pm

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Setter to join a well-established manufacturing company in Droitwich, specialising in the production of rubber and plastic extrusions.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust extrusion machinery for production runs.
• Carry out machine changeovers and ensure machines are running efficiently.
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments to maintain product quality.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and resolve minor machine issues.
• Complete production paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Work closely with the production team to achieve production targets.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Machine Setter or Machine Operator within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating and setting extrusion machinery is highly desirable.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, proactive, and committed to producing high-quality work.
