Machine Operator

-13.50 per hour | Corby (NN17 4JW) | Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm - 12:00am

Working closely with the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Operating a variety of production machinery
• Inspecting products visually and dimensionally to ensure they meet specification standards
• Loading, moving and feeding materials into machines as required
• Carrying out routine lubrication and basic machine maintenance
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move finished pallets into the warehouse
• Performing operational maintenance in line with company procedures
• Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and productivity

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, machine operating, powder coating, or similar environment
• A good understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards
• The ability to follow instructions and achieve production targets
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong team-working skills and a reliable work ethic
• Counterbalance FLT experience (advantageous)

Full training and 1:1 support will be provided to help you become familiar with company processes and procedures.
