Machine Operator / Trainee Supervisor

Cannock From £12.71 per hour Progression to £28,000 £30,000We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our team, with the opportunity to progress into a Shift Supervisor role.This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where you ll play a key role in maintaining production, quality, and safety standards.Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor production machinery efficientlyEnsure all products meet required quality standardsCarry out basic quality checks, including first-off and last-off inspectionsSupport shift handovers and communicate production updates clearlyAssist with organising workflow, break times, and meeting daily targetsFollow and promote health and safety procedures on the shop floorReport issues, escalate concerns, and support continuous improvementHelp train and support other operators as you progress What we re looking for: Previous machine operating experience (essential)Good attention to detail with a strong focus on qualityReliable, proactive, and a strong team playerConfident communicator with a willingness to learnPrevious supervisory role preferable What we offer: Starting pay from £12.71 per hourClear progression into a Supervisor positionSalary increasing to £28,000 £30,000 (depending on experience)Training and development opportunitiesStable role within a growing manufacturing business To apply, please submit a ..... full job details .....
