About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Machine operator who has a genuine appreciation for high-end bespoke furniture. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes: Methodical Work Approach: Ability to work to strict, challenging deadlines while maintaining high standards.Attention to Detail: Passionate about producing accurate, high-quality bespoke furniture.Organised and Self-Motivated: Able to maintain a clean and tidy work environment while staying focused and efficient.Technical Skills: Capable of interpreting technical drawings and performing basic mathematical calculations to ensure precise measurements.While a City and Guilds qualification or equivalent in furniture/cabinet production is advantageous, it is not essential. The successful candidate will have a good level of workplace experience. Key Responsibilities: Manufacture bespoke furniture pieces with precision, following detailed specifications.Use hand tools and machinery effectively to create high-quality pieces.Ensure a clean, organised work area and adhere to safety standards.Work independently or within a team to meet production deadlines and quality expectations.Interpret technical drawings and perform basic calculations for accuracy in dimensions and finishes.
