Machine Operator

Pro-Found Recruitment are recruiting for a Machine Operator working on a 3 shift rotation for our client based in Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72.Machine Operator Benefits:Rotating over 3 shifts - Days 6am to 2pm, Afters 2pm to 10pm and Nights 10pm to 6am - these shifts rotate each week so you must be able to work all 3 shiftsHours: 39 hours per week paid weeklyStart date: Tuesday 7th April 2026Pay Rates: 16.31 for days and afters and 17.36 for nightsContract: Temporary to Permanent subject to performance and attendanceLocation: Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72Machine Operator Duties:Working on line automationOperating and loading machineryQuality checking of materials and finished productsWorking with wood and heavy worktopsFollowing instructionsGeneral HousekeepingWorking on your own and as part of a teamMinimum daily requirements (production targets)Machine Operator Criteria:Previous assembly/production/manufacturing experience essentialCNC or machine operating experience essentialAble to work 3 rotating shifts - days, afters and nightsHard working, reliable and punctualExperience of joinery/carpentry preferred but not essentialStrong attention to detailAbility to follow instructionsGood work ethic and prepared to learn new skills Please note this is a very physically demanding role and requires regular manual handling as part of the day to day duties Pro-Found Recruitment are an employment business and equal opportunities employer. ..... full job details .....
