Machine Operator

A great opportunity has arisen to join a long-established and respected engineering company based in the Medway Towns. They are recruiting a motivated and reliable Machine Operator to join their friendly team working in the casting production area of the factory. This is a temporary role, however there may be an opportunity of a permanent job after a qualifying period.Working Monday-Thursday and Friday or Monday-Friday with an hourly rate of £12.86 per hour.Key Responsibilities:Operating machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient mannerPrevious operation of injection and extrusion machine would be advantageousUsing a band saw to cut materials to required specificationsInspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are metManual handling of materials and products throughout the production processAccurately completing all relevant documentationIdeal Candidate:Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally within a heavy industrial settingPhysically fit and comfortable with manual handling as lifting will be involved Able to follow instructions and work as part of a teamReliable, punctual, and safety-consciousThe Company Offers:A stable and long-term role within a well-established businessSupportive team environmentOngoing training and development opportunitiesIf this is the role for you, please apply today! ..... full job details .....
