Steel Machine OperatorLocation: West MidlandsPay Rate: 14.50phHours of Work: Monday to Friday - 2pm to 10pmWe''re currently recruiting for an experienced Steel Machine Operator to join a well-established and respected structural steel manufacturer. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with the potential to become a permanent member of the team. You''ll be responsible for operating steel processing machinery to produce high-quality structural steel components, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate steel machining equipment.Read and interpret engineering drawings.Process structural steel sections accurately to required specifications.Carry out quality checks throughout production.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Work closely with the production team to meet daily targets.RequirementsPrevious experience operating machinery within the structural steel or steel fabrication industry is essential.Experience with steel machining equipment such as drilling, sawing, beam lines, or CNC machinery is highly desirable.Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.A reliable work ethic and a positive attitude towards teamwork.What''s on Offer 14.50 per hour on the afternoon shift.Ongoing, full-time work.Weekly PayTemp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.Training and career development opportunities.Join a ..... full job details .....
