Machine Operator

We are seeking for a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our client in Erith. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical knowledge, and experience with various tools and machinery. This role involves operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment, ensuring quality standards, and supporting production processes. Responsibilities Operate and monitor various manufacturing machines Set up machines using drawings and tooling specifications Programme and troubleshoot Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and adjustments on machinery to ensure smooth operation Handle materials efficiently, including loading, unloading, and moving components within the workspace Maintain accurate records of production output and machine performance Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment at all times Working in a fast-paced production environment Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Willingness to work either morning or afternoon shifts as required Qualifications Proven experience in fabrication, machining, or manufacturing environments Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations during setup and operation Warehouse experience or familiarity with materials logistics is advantageous Good organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met Shift Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm (flexible to switch to 2pm - 10pm once trained and if needed) Pay 14.50 whilst in training. 15.08 ..... full job details .....
