Machine OperatorLocation: BaldockHours: Monday to Friday 6:00am 2:00pmSalary: Up to £14.00 per hour, increasing after 12 weeksOA are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a busy and growing manufacturing company in Baldock. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous experience operating laser cutting, grinding, and polishing machinery who is looking for long-term work and career progression.Main Duties of a Machine Operator • Operating machines to manufacture small products• Resetting and programming machines when required• Using laser cutting, grinding, and polishing equipment• Carrying out quality checks on finished products• Keeping the working area clean, tidy, and safe• Training provided to learn machine setting and additional processes The ideal candidate will:• Be trained and confident in the use of laser cutting machinery• Have experience using grinding and polishing machines• Be able to work accurately and safely• Have a strong attention to detail and good work ethicThis is a great opportunity to join a growing team with ongoing work available for the right person.
