Experience installing and removing trench boxes, drag boxes, sheet-and-frame systems and other excavation support. Experience lifting and positioning pipes, fittings, valves, chambers and shoring equipment. Knowledge of excavator lifting duties, lift plans, load charts and safe working limits. Experience excavating around live water mains and other underground services. Ability to follow drawings, profiles, levels, permits, RAMS and instructions from the ganger or banksman. Current CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator qualification for the appropriate machine size. Excavator lifting-operations endorsement or recognised equivalent.
