Job Responsibilities

  • Operate large-scale industrial machinery in accordance with defined instructions and operating procedures.
  • Follow production schedules diligently, working effectively within a small team or crew.
  • Set up machines, load raw materials, and manually operate equipment to manufacture adhesive tapes.
  • Unload finished products from machinery, ensuring proper handling and storage.
  • Monitor product quality throughout the production process, exercising control and judgement.
  • Work from written or verbal instructions, applying general operating procedures with some degree of judgement.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues or problems during production, seeking assistance when necessary.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
  • Accurately perform basic data entry and utilise computer systems as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.

Required Skills andamp; Qualifications

  • Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.
  • Previous experience operating production machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Good organisational skills with reliable timekeeping and attendance.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively within a team.
  • Basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations relevant to manufacturing settings.
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating shift pattern, including days and evenings on an 8-hour rotation, Monday to Friday
