Machine Operator

This role involves standing work for approximately 10 hours per shift and can be repetitive in nature. It requires a high level of concentration, accuracy and attention to detail throughout the working day. The main responsibility of the role is ensuring products are correctly positioned within the packaging film to maintain quality standards and production efficiency. You will also be responsible for changing film rolls and adjusting machine settings when production orders change or when film runs out. The successful candidate must have good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination and be able to work consistently within a fast-paced production environment. You will be expected to maintain high standards of quality, food safety and health and safety at all times. This is a long-term opportunity and we are looking for reliable individuals who are seeking permanent employment rather than temporary work between jobs. Previous machine operating experience would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided. Due to the height and configuration of the machinery, the role may be less suitable for very tall individuals.  WHAT WE OFFER Immediate start available. Starting pay rate of £12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.30 per hour once fully trained and operating the machine independently. Shift 4/3 start time 06.15 Factory tours can be arranged before starting. Opportunity to secure a contract after 8 weeks. Long-term employment opportunity for the right candidate.
