Machine Operator (Horizontal Borer)

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines in a manufacturing environment. This role requires a keen attention to detail, the ability to work with precision, and a strong understanding of tooling and materials handling processes. The Machine Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that production targets are met while adhering to safety standards. Duties Operate and monitor machinery, ensuring optimal performance and quality output. Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning and lubrication. Utilise hand tools and power tools for assembly and disassembly of components. Interpret technical drawings and CAD models using SolidWorks for precise machining tasks. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to machine operation or tooling. Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and inventory management. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Qualifications Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with tooling techniques, welding processes, and materials handling practices.
