Machine OperatorTemp-perm£16.52 per hourMy client, a leading engineering company based close to Basingstoke is looking to recruit a Machine Operator on a temp-perm basis - typically you will work for 3 months and then join my client on a permanent basis.My client has recently moved premises and have a very impressive manufacturing facility which includes air conditioning.The role will work on a double dayshift, working 06.00 - 14.00 / 14.00 - 22.00 which will rotate weekly.Ideally, candidates will have a background within engineering / manufacturing and be familiar with general engineering practises, machinery and measuring equipment.Candidates must be able to start immediately or a maximum of a week after successful interview and offer to start - so please only apply if you are available immediately or maximum 1 week from an offer. We will hold a short interview on my clients site in Basingstoke.Duties to include:Operate foam process / moulding machines to produce moulded products.Adjust shot times to suit size and weight of product.Working to drawings and work Instructions.Safe and efficient machine maintenance.Self-inspection - to check quality of moulded products and to check for moulding faults.Complete and understand relevant documentation.Ensure good housekeeping - maintain a tidy workstation.Efficient trimming of polymer flashing from machined product.Assembly of parts and kits.
