Machine Operator Finisher Rotating Shifts

Howdens is recruiting a Finisher/Machine Operator to join our team at Howdens Work Surfaces, our solid surfaces production facility in Holme-on-Spalding-Moor, East Yorkshire.This is a hands-on role where you''ll be responsible for grinding and polishing Dekton and quartz worktops to achieve a high-quality finish using portable grinding and polishing tools. As part of the finishing process, you will work in a wet production environment where water is used throughout the polishing operation.Pay RateYou''ll join Howdens on Band C during your initial training period. Once you''ve successfully completed your training, you''ll progress to Band B, with a corresponding increase in pay.Band C: £35,786.40 per annum + Shift Allowances £3052.24 per annumBand B: £43,696.64 per annum + Shift Allowances £3052.24 per annumOpportunities for overtimeTwo-week rotating shift pattern:Week 1Monday to Friday: 5:45am - 2:00pmWeek 2Monday to Friday: 1:45pm - 10:00pmWhat Will You Be Doing as a Finisher:As a Finisher, you''ll play a key role in ensuring our products meet the high-quality standards our customers expect.
