Machine Operator

The Machine Operator position is working with a market leading, international multi-million-pound turnover engineering business based in Huddersfield. This opportunity offers both personal and career development within a market leading engineering group.

This is a permeant opportunity for a Machine Operator to join a forward thinking, industry leader.

The brand-new purpose built, state of art manufacturing facility is based in Huddersfield, making it accessible from surrounding towns and cities such as; Elland, Halifax, Bradford, Leeds and Wakefield.

Key Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:

• Operate convoluting and production machinery safely and efficiently, following procedures and work instructions.
• Manufacture and assemble products to required specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing tolerances.
• Conduct routine quality checks to identify defects and ensure products meet customer and company requirements.
• Follow all Health & Safety policies and maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
• Accurately complete production records and use basic computer systems to support manufacturing activities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (5S).

Working Hours of the Machine Operator

• Monday- Thursday: 06:00-14:00
• Friday: 06:00-11:00

I would be keen to speak to candidates who possess:

• Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience within an engineering environment.
• A good level of numeracy and basic computer skills, with the ability to accurately complete production records.
• The ability to follow written work instructions and work to strict quality standards and manufacturing tolerances.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a willingness to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

In Return, the Machine Operator will receive:

• Basic Salary: -13.45 Per Hour.
• Early finish on a Friday.
