Machine Operator-

Contek are working with a client who is based in Dorset, near Dorchester that are looking for a Machine Operator to join their team. This position is quite a niche skill within Engineering and with that being said we are open to candidates from a variety of skills within Engineering.

We are ideally looking for a Machine Operator who is experienced working within a manufacturing facility with history working on CNC''s or similar machinery such as Injection Moulding, Extrusion, Presses and so on.-

Responsibilities:

• Help to run and operate a 4 line-manufacturing process within an Engineering company.
• General maintenance within the lines during changeovers or breaks in production.-
• Help across the site including within the warehouse or packing where needed.-
• Work with a variety of materials from plastics, metal and-graphite.-

Desired:

• Ability to read drawings.
• Come equipped with a good understanding of basic-engineering principles.
• Previous experience as a Machine Operator, working on machines such as CNC''s, Presses, Extrusion Lines, Injection Moulding machinery etc.

Hours: (1 week rotating shift - AM/PM)

Week 1:
06:00 - 14:00-

Week 2:
13:00 - 21:00
