Machine Operator

Machine Operator required on a Temporary basis with a view of going Permanent for the right candidates after 12 weeks. The main purpose of the Operator role is to operate machinery ensuring production targets are achieved.
Starting on -12.21 rising to -15.00 once trained on all machines
Monday to Friday Double Day shifts:
Earlies 06:30 - 14:00 Monday to Thursday/ 06:30 - 12:30 Frid
Lates 14:00 - 21:45 Monday to Thursday/ 12:30 - 17:30 Friday


This role involves:

Load the machine
Ensuring smooth flow of product through the machine
Monitoring each stage of the machine to ensure no jams or quality issues
Quality control & inspection
Packing from the end of the machine
Weighing the products
Boxing
Labelling
Palletising
Working to production targets
Entering numerical information onto records and PC
Working with high speed machinery
The ideal candidate:
Must have previous experience of working with high speed machinery
Must be able to work at speed
Have the ability to multi task to keep the machine loaded and running
Have quality inspection skills
Have the ability to check own work
Flexible to work in another department where necessary
Have an element of flexibility regarding working hours
