Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Steel Operative to join our Client
Duties
- Operate hand tools and machinery for fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Perform grinding and welding activities as required by production specifications.
- Work with sheet metal to create components and structures.
- Conduct basic assembly of parts and products following detailed instructions.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Utilise basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
- Assist in tooling setup and adjustments as necessary.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with hand tools and machinery used in metalworking.
- Experience working with sheet metal is advantageous.
- Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Hours
6am -2pm / 2pm -10pm
