This Machine Operator position is working for a manufacturer in New Milton. There are 2 positions available, one early shift and one late shift, both 12 month positions. The Early shift is 6am – 2pm Monday to Friday, paying £13.49ph. The late shift is Monday to Thursday 3pm – midnight, and Friday 11am – 4pm. The late shift has a shift uplift and is therefore paying £16.86ph.
The role will involve carrying out machine operating duties to help fabricate and produce the company’s products. The type of machines you would be working on include Guillotines, Brake Press and Punch Press. It will also be important to quality check own work and ensure the desired quality and finish meets company standards. Overtime is available.
You will need:
- Experience with operating machinery such as a Guillotine or Brake Press
- Experience working with Sheet Metal
- To be flexible with business requirements
- A keen eye for detail and able to quality check own work
- To be able to commute to New Milton for shift starts
