MACHINE OPERATIVE / CNC OPERATIVE People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative / CNC Operative to join our well-established client based in Twycross, Atherstone. This is a workshop-based role where no two days are the same, and you may be required to work across different areas within the production environment. Shifts • Monday to Friday• 08:00 - 16:30 Rates of Pay • £13.00 - £14.00 per hour Benefits • Weekly pay (continues even after going permanent, typically after 12 weeks)• On-site canteen facility• Paid AM and PM breaks• Relaxed working environment• Long-term, ongoing opportunities Day-to-Day Duties As a Machine Operative / CNC Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Setting up and running machines to ensure optimum efficiency• Identifying and resolving faults during machine set-up in line with order requirements• Reading and working from engineering drawings• Performing checks against instructions to ensure product quality and conformity• Carrying out regular quality inspections and correcting issues immediately• Ensuring adequate stock of raw materials to maintain productivity• Reporting defective machine parts promptly• Keeping the work area clean and tidy at all times Essential Skills To be successful as a Machine Operative / CNC Operative, you will need: • Previous machine operating experience• Confidence ..... full job details .....
