Machine Operator

Location: Arbroath

Pay: -13.45 per hour

Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Contact: Temporary Contract -End of August until December

The Role

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring production machinery
• Setting up equipment and making basic adjustments where required
• Carrying out quality checks on finished products
• Ensuring products meet company specifications and standards
• Reporting any faults or maintenance issues to supervisors
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Assisting with general production duties as required

What We Are Looking For

• Previous machine operating, manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Forklift Licence (Desirable but not essential)
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
• Ability to follow instructions and health & safety procedures
