Machine Operator

Aspired Talent are looking for Machine Operators for our Client in Chorley PR6.Hours are Monday to Friday 730am till 430pmMUST have at Least 2 years Experience as a Machine OperatorCOMPANY OVERVIEWOur client is working with a leading manufacturer in Chorley.OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOBProduce orders on time to the right qualityOperate and maintain machineryEnsure smooth and efficient productionAdhere to health and safety protocolsREPORTING RELATIONSHIPSThis role reports to the Production ManagerKEY RESPONSIBILITIESPerform daily start-up and health and safety checks on production equipmentUndertake work orders generated by the internal sales teamFollow operational procedures and production timelinesOperate and set up machinesClean machinery before and after use; maintain a clean work area and report any hazards or near missesAdhere to all health and safety regulations when operating machinery and handling products to ISO standardsInform management of any faulty machinery or production issuesInspect parts for quality and tolerance; report any discrepancies before proceedingFollow correct waste recycling processes where appropriateUse hand tools as requiredAssist with subassembly of relevant parts when necessaryPerform other duties as required within capability (training provided for upskilling)JOB DIMENSIONS / SCOPEBased at Preston production siteKNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIREDExcellent health and safety awarenessStrong attention to detailGood communication, ..... full job details .....
