Machine Operator

We are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join the shopfloor team at a busy manufacturing company in Coventry. This is a hands-on role working with materials and machinery. Hours: 6am-2pm Monday to Friday however, you must be prepared to do 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm during busy periods.Pay rate: 12.83 per hour paid weeklyContract: Temporary to Permanent Key Responsibilities:Operating a slitting machine to cut materials accuratelyCutting and preparing materials to required specificationsWorking on the shop floor as part of a teamFollowing health and safety procedures at all timesMaintaining a clean and organised work area Requirements:Good level of common sense and practical thinkingExperience operating a slitting machine preferred but not essentialExperience operating and setting machinery preferred but not essentialPositive attitude and willingness to learnReliable and punctualComfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to support shift work when required ASC Connections Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
