Machine Operator

We are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join the shopfloor team at a busy manufacturing company in Coventry. This is a hands-on role working with materials and machinery.

Hours: 6am-2pm Monday to Friday however, you must be prepared to do 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm during busy periods.

Pay rate: -12.83 per hour paid weekly

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a slitting machine to cut materials accurately
• Cutting and preparing materials to required specifications
• Working on the shop floor as part of a team
• Following health & safety procedures at all times
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

Requirements:

• Good level of common sense and practical thinking
• Experience operating a slitting machine preferred but not essential
• Experience operating and setting machinery preferred but not essential
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to support shift work when required
