Job Opportunity: Machine Operator in Aerospace Manufacturing!
Are you ready to take your career to new heights? Our client, a leading player in the Aerospace manufacturing industry, is looking for a dedicated Machine Operator to join their dynamic team in Leighton Buzzard.
Summary:
- Start date: May 2026
- Duration: 6 months with potential to be extended or made permanent!
- Location: Leighton Buzzard
- Pay Rate: -17.76 per hour
- Hours: 39 hours per week - Mondy to Thursday 7am - 4pm and Friday 7am - 12pm
What Will You Do?
As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the assembly of a wide variety of aircraft interiors products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Adhering to all health and safety policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to quality in every task.
- Supporting production schedules through efficient operations.
- Utilising hand tools and mechanical equipment for basic component assembly.
- Identifying parts to ensure traceability of components and assembled items.
- Producing documentation to support production schedules.
- Recording completed work using our computer systems.
- Packaging finished goods to meet industry standards for transportation.
- Contributing to business delivery and quality targets.
- Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives to minimise waste and boost efficiency.
What Do You Need?
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Ability to read engineering drawings is essential.
- The capability to follow instructions accurately and provide feedback.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with your team.
- A solid understanding of Microsoft software.
- A commitment to safe working practices.
