Machine Operator - Press Brake / CNC / LaserSparkford 15.26 per hour Early/Late Shift Rotation Full-TimeIntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to join a well-established and growing engineering and manufacturing business in Sparkford. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator to work within a fast-paced production environment using a range of advanced machinery.Key DutiesSet up and operate press brake, CNC router, and laser cutting machinery.Load and unload raw materials and finished components.Check materials for correct size, thickness, and grade.Interpret engineering drawings and work from Bills of Materials (BOMs).Use nesting software to optimise material usage.Inspect, measure, and deburr finished parts.Sort and organise components by job and material type.Complete documentation to maintain quality standards.Work collaboratively to achieve On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets.Carry out basic machine maintenance and maintain accurate records.Operate additional machinery as required.Identify risks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards.RequirementsProven experience operating press brakes, CNC routers, or laser cutting machines.Strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing environments.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.Competent using measuring tools such as verniers, squares, protractors, and tape measures.Knowledge of nesting ..... full job details .....
