Machine Operator / Factory Operative
Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 6:00pm (12-hour shifts)
• Friday: 6:00am - 2:00pm

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator / Factory Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing business.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, involving machine operation, quality checks, and general factory duties. The successful candidate will be reliable, hardworking, and able to commit to the shift pattern on a long-term basis.
Key Responsibilities

• Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
• Loading raw materials and monitoring machine performance
• Carrying out quality inspections on finished products
• Following production schedules and work instructions
• Packing and preparing products for dispatch
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Reporting faults or issues to supervisors
• Supporting the wider production team as required
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, factory, or machine operating role is desirable
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
• Physically fit and capable of being on your feet for extended periods
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be able to commit to the working hours on a regular basis.
Reliability and attendance are essential, as the production team relies on full shift coverage to meet customer demand.
