Role: Machine Operatives Location: Sudbury, Suffolk Hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:30 - 17:00 Pay: 13.00 - 15.50+ p/hour (DOE) Contract: Temporary to PermanentWe are currently recruiting for Machine Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing business in Sudbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for hands-on candidates with manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly experience looking to join a skilled and supportive production team.We are looking for candidates across two areas of production:Brake Press Operator Duties:Operating brake press machinery to bend and form sheet metal componentsSetting and adjusting machines to meet job specificationsWorking from engineering drawings and production instructionsMeasuring finished components to ensure accuracy and quality standardsCarrying out general fabrication and sheet metal duties as requiredSpot Welding / Pemserting Operator Duties:Operating spot welding and pemserting equipment to assemble sheet metal componentsReading and working from engineering drawings and work instructionsPositioning and securing components ready for welding or insertionCarrying out quality checks on finished productsUsing hand tools and supporting general assembly dutiesWho are we looking for?Previous experience within manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly environmentsExperience with brake press machinery, spot welding, or pemserting would be advantageousAbility to read and understand engineering drawingsConfident using hand tools and measuring ..... full job details .....
