Job Title: Machine OperativeLocation: Devizes Salary: 14.47 per hour, increasing to 14.99 after 12 weeks/ Overtime rates - 21.71- 28.04 per hourHours: 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 and 22:00-06:00 (Monday-Friday) - Weekly Rotational Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent Role Overview We are looking for a reliable Machine Operative to join our production team, ensuring production runs smoothly by operating machinery, maintaining quality standards, and supporting an efficient, safe working environment. Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor packaging machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production.Set up machines according to production schedules and specifications.Carry out routine checks and basic maintenance to minimise downtime.Ensure packaging meets quality standards through regular inspections.Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organised work area.Report any machine faults or issues promptly to supervisors.Assist with loading materials and handling finished products.Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets.Complete production records and maintain accurate documentation.Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety. Essential RequirementsPrevious Production/ General Warehouse experience (essential).Mandatory Basic numeracy skills.Good spoken English.
