Machine Operative

Pennine Recruitment (acting as an employment business) are delighted to be recruiting 2x Machine Operatives/FLT Counterbalance Drivers to work with our client in the Castleford area. In this role you will be working in a recycling environment so any previous recycling experience would be ideal. This company has fantastic pathways of career progression for suitable candidates. The role will include (but not necessarily limited to) Machine operation - Feeding machines and working on a conveyor belt Produce a number of reports based on the polymers that have been sorted Complete all administrative tasks whilst onsite Minding machines within the facility Ability to lift/move heavy objects due to the nature of the business Using an FLT Counterbalance truck to move materials The successful candidate will ideally have the following experience: Experience within a manufacturing/recycling role Must hold accredited FLT Counterbalance license The ability to work both as part of a small friendly team or work on own initiative Ability to work to targets/KPIs Hours of Work Weekly rotating shifts Monday to Friday (Must work all 3 shifts) 06:00 - 14:00 14:00 - 22:00 22:00 - 06:00 Rates of Pay Remuneration is 13.72 per hour with any overtime paid at a premium (1.5x Mon-Fri, 1.75x Saturday and 2x Sunday) In return we can offer: Onsite Gym and Showers Full time work with a career path for candidates driven to succeed in this marketplace.
