Role: Machine Operative Nights
Location: Mildenhall
Pay: -18.00 - -19.00 p/hour
Hours: Monday to Friday during the training period (08:00-17:00, approx. 2-6 weeks), then Thursday to Saturday 18:00 - 06:00, plus every other Wednesday
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: This is a permanent role subject to a successful 3-month temporary probation period

A reputable and long-standing manufacturing business in Mildenhall is expanding its workshop team and seeking an experienced Machine Operator. This role plays a key part in producing high-quality components within a busy production environment. Offering consistent hours and the opportunity to move into a permanent position, it provides stability and long-term prospects for the right candidate.

Well suited to someone with previous milling or machining experience, this position offers the chance to develop within a structured and supportive manufacturing setting

What We''re Looking For:

• Previous milling experience isn''t essential but desirable
• Comfortable working with machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Reliable, hands-on, and safety-conscious
• Willingness to learn and develop skills further

Machine Operative Nights Duties Include:

• Operating milling and production machinery
• Carrying out machine start-up and shut-down procedures
• Monitoring quality and reporting any issues
• Assisting with tooling changes and machine adjustments
• Performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting
• Keeping the work area clean, organised, and safe
• Working as part of a team to meet daily production deadlines
