Machine Operative

Job Description:Major Recruitment has an exciting job opportunity for a Machine Operative/ Production Technician to join our prestigious manufacturing client based in Chadderton.Previous machine operating experience is essential, CNC experience is highly desirable.General duties to includeWorking within a clean room manufacturing environment.Operating and monitoring a CNC ply cutting machine to cut materials to specified dimensions.Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions to ensure accurate production.Carrying out quality checks on materials and finished parts to ensure they meet required standards.Reporting machine faults or breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime.Adhering to Health and Safety regulations, including safe machine operation and use of PPE.Pay Rate: 13.16 per hour plus further increases once permanent and fully trainedRotating Shift Pattern: 3 on 3 off Rotating shiftsSkills and Experience requiredDemonstrates a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.Previous CNC operating experience is highly desirable.Flexible and able to work a rotating shift pattern.To apply please submit your most recent CV.Major Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
