Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Gillingham, Kent
Hours: Monday to Friday (Rotating Shifts)
Shifts: 06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00 / 22:00 – 06:00

Pay Rate:

• £13.00 per hour (days & afternoons)
• £13.50 per hour (nights)

We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and detail-focused Machine Operator to join our team in Gillingham, Kent. This is a key role within a busy production environment where machine uptime, quality standards, and attention to detail are essential.

We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, good problem-solving ability, and the intelligence to understand and maintain smooth machine operation without constant supervision. Candidates should take pride in their work and be confident in keeping production running efficiently and safely.

• Ensure machines are continuously supplied with required materials
• Monitor machine performance to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operation
• Identify and resolve minor issues such as blockages or stoppages
• Ensure correct separation of materials and prevent line mix-ups
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workstation
• Report faults, breakdowns, or concerns promptly and accurately
• Support overall site housekeeping and production efficiency standards

• Strong attention to detail and a responsible approach to work
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Proactive mindset with the ability to think ahead and act independently
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards
