Machine Operative

Gap Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Hortonwood for experienced Machine Operative (s) to join a busy manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and motivated candidates looking for long-term work with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract. The client is looking for candidates to work either double days or static nights. 

Pay & Working Hours:

Training Period (2 Weeks):

• Monday – Friday
• 8:00am – 4:00pm
• £13.50 per hour

Double Day Shift After Training

• Monday - Friday
• week 1 - 7am - 3pm
• week 2 - 3pm - 11pm
• £13.84 per hour

Night Shift After Training:

• Sunday – Thursday
• 11:00pm – 7:00am
• £14.85 per hour

Duties as a Machine Operative Include:

• Operating and monitoring production machinery
• Ensuring products meet quality standards
• Following health & safety procedures
• Working independently and as part of a team
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Candidate Requirements as a machine operative:

• Previous machine operating experience is essential
• Good level of spoken and written English
• A current CV is required for application
• Reliable, flexible and punctual
• Able to work independently or within a team environment
