Machine / Production Operative 6 Month ContractLocation: Desford, LeicestershirePay Rate: £17.98 per hourContract: 6 Month rolling contractShift Pattern4 on / 4 off rotating days and nights Days: 5:30am 6:00pmNights: 5:30pm 6:00am The RoleWe''re looking for 2 experienced Machine / Production Operatives to join a brand-new manufacturing facility in Desford.Working within the cutting and palletising area, you''ll be responsible for operating automated production machinery, ensuring production runs efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a hands-on role suited to candidates with previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities Operate, monitor and adjust automated production machinery, including extruders and de-hackers.Ensure machines are running efficiently and safely throughout the shift.Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet specification.Identify and report machine faults, defects or production issues.Complete production records and basic system updates.Work to production targets while maintaining high quality standards.Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow all Health and Safety procedures.
