The successful candidate will be fully trained on all workstations within the company. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a very successful and long standing business in a friendly team environment. Hours will be Monday to Friday on rotating 6am to 2pm, and 2pm to 10pm shift (8pm finish on Fridays). The hourly starting rate is -13.84 per hour. The role of Machine Operator requires a degree of manual handling along with the maintenance of accurate record keeping relating to activity during the shift. A background within textiles, winding & unwinding machines, lamination of textiles is preferred, however candidates with a strong manufacturing process background will be considered. The role of Machine Operator requires the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation along with a knowledge and understanding of appropriate manufacturing methods and associated industries is an essential requirement.
