We are looking to expand our Production Technician team. The production technicians play a key role in setting running and maintaining our special purpose manufacturing machinery, working over three business areas. Our production technicians work on a shift basis to keep our machines running 24 hours a day, 5 days a week. The successful candidate will have previous manufacturing experience working with automated machines and be willing to learn how we work our unique product line. This is a demanding role that requires a high attention to detail. This role will be based in tape and reel but may be cross trained in another discipline should there be a business need.

Monday- Friday hours working Double Days shift pattern 2 weeks earlies 2 weeks lates rotation.  Paying £34,579pa with excellent benefits including 25 days holiday plus 8 days BH and Christmas shut down.

What do you need?

• Experience using manual tools

• Mechanically minded and experience of automated machines (an advantage but not essential)

• Experience of working to technical drawings would be an advantage.

• Attention to detail

• Ability to work to targets & KPIs.

• Capability and readiness to adhere to both verbal and written directions

• Ability to work as part of a team - essential.
