Location - Liversedge

Duration - Temporary - Permanent

Hours - 38.5 hours per week. Day shift 8am - 4:30pm - must be flexible to work shifts as this will soon be introduced (AM and PM rotating)

Salary - -12.21p/h, once fully trained rising to -14.30p/h

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery used in the production of non-woven felt. Training will be provided on the machine with a training period that could last up to 6 months, depending on the individual''s aptitude and progress.

The role requires a reliable individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.

Duties:

• All aspects of operating textile machinery:
• Supervising the process
• Feeding fibres into the machine
• Machine minding
• Thorough cleaning between batches
• Loading / unloading
• Goods in / Goods out
• General housekeeping duties

Desired Skills:

• Previous experience in carding and or felt / non-woven manufacturing
• FLT Licence would be desirable
• Able to flexibly work rotating shift patterns
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to multitask
• Good Level of physical fitness
• Willingness to work
• Positive attitude towards work
• Responsibility and reliability
