Covertec Structures is looking for a Machine Operative to join our workshop team in Lutterworth. You don''t need to be an experienced PVC welder full training can be provided on the welding process and machinery. We''re a small, close-knit workshop team, and this role has been an important part of the business for over 20 years. We''re looking for someone who wants to join a stable business and build a long-term career with us. The role As a Machine Operative / PVC Welder, you''ll work with PVC fabric, preparing, cutting and joining materials to create finished products for our customers. You''ll be trained to use our specialist high-frequency welding machinery, so previous PVC welding experience isn''t essential. The work is practical and hands-on, and accuracy is important. You''ll be working from measurements and specifications, making precise cuts and ensuring finished products are straight, square and correctly assembled. Some of the materials can weigh up to around 40kg, so you''ll need to be comfortable with manual handling.
