Machine Minders sought to join an award-winning, multimillion turnover food manufacturing company based in Bilston. They are a privately owned company who supply numerous sectors including foodservice, retail, wholesale and catering, both in the UK and abroad. These are permanent, full-time positions with morning shifts and evening shifts available. There are 3 x Machine Minder roles available on each shift from Level 1 to Level 3, with the hourly rate reflecting the level of the role (see below). Mornings: 5.15am/5.20am-2.45pm/2.50pm Monday to FridayEvenings: 2pm-10.30pm Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm Saturday The Role:As a Machine Minder you will undertake machine interventions and first line trouble shooting to ensure the machinery runs to its optimum. Your duties will include:Ensure that the production line is operating smoothly and correctly, and any issues are reportedPerform start-up and close down check proceduresComplete routine maintenance of specific line equipmentAnalyse, interpret and report live data for performance evaluationDeliver the department daily planMaintain, monitor and achieve operational targetsMonitor and improve product qualityComplete line quality checks (CLS)Perform production process checks in the departmentContinuously identify and implement workplace improvementsMaintain and promote measures that support waste minimisation and sustainability in operationsSupport internal and external auditsSupport GMP in the departmentTo ensure that photographic ..... full job details .....
